We offer support to families as they help children reach developmental milestones.

A missed milestone can help you spot a potential learning, social, or physical concern, giving you the opportunity to act early.

How Can I Tell If
My Child Needs Help?

Contact us if your child:

• Is slow to begin crawling, walking or talking
• Has problems eating, hearing or seeing
• Shows concerning behavior
• Displays little interest in other people
• Has special health needs

What is Early Intervention?

A system of supports and services designed to meet the specific needs of your family, and children up to 36 months old. This process is known as early intervention—which is why it’s part of our name, and part of our mission. Research shows participation in family–centered early intervention services during the first three years of life can have a major impact on the development of children. Contact us today.

These services are provided at no cost to families. Early Childhood Intervention serves families in the city of Billings.

How will it Affect Our Family?

As the most important person in your child’s life, you are the head of the team that helps determine what’s best for you and your family. If our in-home evaluation finds your child eligible, you and your Family Support Specialist will determine your concerns and priorities for your child—and what outcomes (or changes) you want to work toward. Follow-up services will be provided to your family at your home, where we will assist you in ways to help your child learn and develop.
